Abode TV Philosophy, English beat poetry

'I was living in a hotel room
Couldn't keep much in there
Just a suitcase
A few necessary items
You know, a couple of shirts and a suit.
But I had a fellow to stay.
When I went out to get cigarettes
I saw him walking down the street,
With a TV, and I didn't
Think anything of it.
That was really vexing
They saying, "Charlie where's our TV?"
So they put me in a taxi
Sent me to another hotel.
Oh, I've lost lots of televisions
But I've no regrets:
I'm not a religious man like that,
I've got lots of friends
But don't worry
I'm not starting up an army,
Soul, I'm not one of those crazy bastards,
May God bless us and save us for swearing,
Like Napoleon,
Killing millions of innocent people.
I've talked to the Mormons,
They don't have televisions,
They wouldn't take one off me
If I paid so much up front for them a month.'
