Insane (Humour)

April 15th, Hillsborough, English football poetry

April 15th was just no ordinary black day,
Sitting, watching, nothing to do or say.
The appalling agony which graved the green,
Their praying, reaching out to be seen.
So near she was to freeing that cage,
So free was he but no timid rage,
A push and a shove had no effect on the age.
No single man can be made of this massacre
No justification can be laid on this fate
And no great tribute can be paid to their innocence.
