Blue Pools, English love poem
I don't know her name
I was too polite
And short-sighted to stare
Too long at where
Her plastic badge rested
On a bright blue tunic
Hanging on a dainty silver chain
Nestled in her cleavage
But long enough to notice
Her photo did no justice
To this blonde ice maiden
With her perfect complexion
I couldn't help but gaze amazed
And transfixed into the huge pools
Of her bright blue eyes
I was dazzled and dazed
As I reported my lost property
"Were you drunk?"
"Yes, utterly"
Today came the time
To collect this
Lost property of mine
And there she was again
Sublime and watching me
In tight police trousers
With more than a hint
Of menacing sexuality
And I was left thinking
"I wish I was respectable"
Or better yet
She'd try unsuccessfully
To persuade me to be...
With sex!
