Lamenting love, English love poetry

Hither and tither
I go
Spasming sideways
Our ebb and flow
A sort of disaster
Shining up at me
Unable to comprehend
"No"
The message we both send
Cryptically
As you float further
Out to sea
To the end
I'm watching you drown
Paralysed
From above
By morbid fascination
Your not swimming
Symbolic
The end of my infatuation
Our failing love
I feel I could save you
Were I to try
But involved with our loss
I watch you die.
