Stella & Sortini, English love poetry

Decisively whispering mischievously tampering
Perpetually a girl teetering
On the edge of alcoholic apocalypse
A rabid beauty for those who dared
Underwear much criticised but Stella didn't care
Sold good blow jobs to embolden conductors
Crude grins and gold wedding rings on cold hands
Overactive glands reeking of gin and her cheap sin
What a bawdy proud parade they made
Short-cutting they marched through the cemetery
Clad in their bus depot's finery
Pilfering her flowers from graves
The grotty bedsitter in which she lived
A mecca for many a lustful pilgrimage
They jostled for space with each other the 8 cats
Milly Mabel Elvis Jack
Percy Elsie Cleopatra
Jade Sortini
A street preaching piano moving
Shell shocked Italian sexual acrobat
Who never slept but shouted at the people in the ceiling
Whenever he wasn't fucking drinking stealing and thinking
